LIBRARY

The Jafar Tukan Library was founded to inspire today’s professionals and tomorrow’s innovators in architecture, design and engineering. Established in 1984 as a regional reference center, the library boasts an impressive collection of local and international books, periodicals, technical reports and codes. Housed at CCG's international head office in Amman, Jordan, architects and students have these resources at their disposal to aid them in their studies and professional development, whether it be in architecture, interior design, art, planning, landscaping or construction.

Recognized throughout the region and beyond as a pioneer architect with a unique style and approach, the works of Jafar Tukan speak volumes. With distinctly innovative and beautiful works, Jafar Tukan progressed architectural design in the Middle East and North Africa, earning him distinction among his peers and those who value great architecture. Jafar Tukan's impressive contribution in his field earned him several accolades - including the Agha Khan Award for Architecture, for his design of the SOS Children’s Village in Aqaba, Jordan, in 2001. In 2003, he brought his unique vision, skill and vast experience to establish a team of architects within CCG.
