Project Description

The coastal road runs from the north of Sultanate Oman, to the border of Khatmat Malaha. 240km in length, with 4 lanes, it crosses built-up areas and passes the naval base and other areas of national importance. 

The project includes 100km of link roads connecting with the existing highway, a dual carriageway, and 2-lane service roads on both sides. The start and end points are full cloverleaf interchange, other junctions are roundabouts or flyovers. 
 
The road also contains a significant number of wadi bridges and culverts in addition to sea protection works, street lighting, and road furniture.
